K I N G - J A C K A L

The King Jackal is a Medium Assault Mech primarily used to support standard armored troop units. Two to three of these mechs may be found operating with troopers and shoulder some of the responsibility of situational awareness communications with satellites and other ground units.

The unit pictured here is armed with duel, high velocity 40mm cannons, grenade launchers, Hell Swarm missiles and duel Abyss rocket pods. The armor for the King Jackal is fairly think compared to other medium assault mechs due to the fact that it is primarily designed for street level combat situations.

P Y T H O N - mK I I

The Python Mk II is a somewhat larger version of the original Python with a new, more powerful engine and upgraded, reactive armor. The Python was originally designed as a reconnaissance vehicle with quick mobility and a good arms package enabling it to protect itself for extended periods of time.

The Mk II came about due to the increase in enemy unit strength. The Mk II has been outfitted with reactive armor and automated defense systems along with a high velocity impact 50 caliber machine gun, 40mm grenade launcher and Charon rocket pods. The Python in addition to a traditional turbine engine is outfitted with electric hub motors to enable it to move stealthily when required to do so.

In this picture the Python has been dispatched to the flooded remains of coastal city 19 to investigate the disappearance of several arms transport. Like many of the modern vehicles today, the Python has to ability to operate autonomously and stake out areas on patrol for extended periods of time. Picture here it is entering hour 217 of this particular operation.

tHE bASILISK hUNTER kILLER

The Basilisk Hunter Killer is a light and fast Mech Interceptor. Armed with a Python Rail Gun system the Basilisk can target very specific areas of an enemy unit with startling accuracy. Even though quite a few Mech cockpits are armored to give the pilot maximum protection, the Python Rail gun has adequate punch enough to go through a good portion of the armor that is out there and being utilized.

The main drawback is that targeting takes somewhat longer to achieve a lock so many Basilisks will have support units providing protection when possible. Pictured here is a Badger APC with a 20mm Auto Cannon mounted on top to provide over watch.

bADGER aPC

The Badger APC is a battlefield workhorse charged with everything from troop transport to supplies. Some Badgers are mounted with weapons such as the one pictured here and have proved fairly good in a firefight despite only having medium armor. The rugged suspension and durability have made it a favorite that is still in use on the battlefield today.

wOLF sPIDER dRONE

The Wolf Spider, a medium sized, all terrain vehicle specifically designed for Mech hunting. Here it is poised, ready to strike any unfortunate Mech that wanders into its web. Armed with duel auto cannons and rocket pods, the Wolf Spider is one of the main things that most seasoned Mech pilots fear.

fALLOUT II

Fallout II is another redo image. I hope this does justice to the original even though it is a different kind of feel to it. The image was not inspired by the game even though I am a self admitted Fallout 3 and New Vegas junkie. Sure would not have mind having this machine going up against some Super Mutants, Talon Company mercs or Deathclaws.

gOBLIN aTV

The Goblin ATV was designed as a relatively inexpensive unit meant to be deployed en mass. Deployment would usually occur via Drop-ship. The Goblins was small and light enough that eight to ten units could fit in the interior of most standard heavy drop-ships.

Once the Goblin was deployed it could operate autonomously, remotely or manually. Pictured here is the unit during the Apollo moon wars. During this operation thousands were set to perform a clean and sweep of all enemy units. This caused untold collateral damage and quite an uproar within the United League of Worlds, but by the time any resolution could be implemented, fair amounts of Apollonian cites were laid to waste with over 63% caused by the Goblin ATV.

vULTURE kING

The Vulture King was a tank killer gunship utilized by corporate forces during the Talon uprising. This particular model was able to move around on the ground via bipedal Mech legs and gave it the eerie appearance of the Carrion bird it was named after.
